Ogatan Charcoal is natural, Vietnamese-style log charcoal from your friends at Knifewear. It is made sustainably from orchard-grown fruitwood offcuts. Ogatan Charcoal delivers a consistent, even heat, that is easy to cook with, and imparts a mild flavour on your BBQ’ed food.
Knifewear’s Ogatan Charcoal is a great alternative to Japanese binchotan charcoal, or an excellent way to get the most from your Binchotan. Light a few pieces of Knifewear charcoal, then use them to light your binchotan more easily. If you’re cooking for a large group, cut your binchotan 50/50 with Ogatan to get the best bang for your buck!
